Season of Renewal
I often find the incoming Spring brings a sense of relief, hope, and optimism about brighter days ahead, especially after a long Irish Winter. This past Winter felt longer than most, as life seemed to mirror nature, and I had to let go of some important things to make space for new life.
Fatherhood has brought more change into my life in a short space of time than I can put into words. New responsibilities. New priorities. A need for new rhythms, structure, and ways of relating - not just how I show up in my personal life, but in how I show up in my work as well.
Moving on forward into the months ahead, I’ll be taking a different approach. I’ll be running fewer self-organised public events, and putting more of my energy into a role where I’m more effective instead - facilitating sessions, rather than trying to arrange everything around them.
This Spring, I’ll be facilitating a series of free-to-attend Woodland Wellness Walks, organised by Ards & North Down Borough Council. And if you enjoyed the Breathe in the Park sessions made possible by the council over the past few Summers, there may be another update soon…
Alongside this, I’ll continue offering 1-to-1 sessions and small private groups from Koselig Therapy Rooms in Bangor, and online via Zoom.
If this past season of life has taught me anything, it’s the value of simplicity. You can now book a single one-hour session (£75), primarily focused on breathwork, with sound and other simple practices to calm the nervous system and open space in both body and mind.
If you feel the need for something deeper, I’m offering a two-hour session (£135) to allow for something even more personalised. These longer sessions may also include hands-on, pressure point work, or exploratory mediative practices like somatic tracking and guided visualisation.
For those who want to benefit from the cumulative effect of either of these type of sessions, a 20% discount is available when you book three.
Last but not least, I’ll also be facilitating group sessions for corporate teams and organisations. If your workplace could benefit from reducing stress, creating more clarity in the mind as well as energy in the body, you can read more here, or simply get in touch for a free consultation.
By simplifying the way I work, I hope what I offer is even more grounded and effective for the people I have the privilege to work with. I also hope it helps me create the space needed to show up in the way I want to for my family, for my health, and for my own ongoing inner process.
This next season of life feels, in many ways, like a step into a different kind of maturity, and it’s one that I’m definitely still finding my feet in. I’m looking forward to seeing what unfolds over the coming months, and I’ll share more as it does.
Best wishes for the season ahead,
Scott
