Happy New Year!
As I write this blog entry on January 3rd, I’ve had few days to reflect on the transition from 2025 into 2026. It feels like no exaggeration to say that 2025 was the biggest year of my life. Last January, everything changed when my then-fiancée, Holly, and I discovered she was pregnant. In the year that followed, we made good on a long standing promise to get married (having been engaged since 2021), and lived a whole lot of other life until Levi came to join us, September 30th. The final quarter of the year was both the biggest privilege and challenge: parenthood.
On the professional front, last year brought a whole lot of change as well, but I won’t rhyme off the extensive list of trainings and mentorships I went through (you can learn more about those here if curious). The biggest shift in regards to my work didn’t come from adding a few new tools and sharpening some existing skills - it was the consideration I put into how I was presenting my work that was the real difference. The unique offering I’ve put together over the past decade found a name; BodyMind Reset™, and I made a real effort to just simplify everything.
I feel like the work I put into clarifying my offerings in 2025 has a made a foundation for what I want to build in 2026. Beyond 1-to-1 sessions at Koselig Therapy Rooms, plus small private and public groups there too, I’m excited to announce that Holly, Levi and I will be running our new Fire & Ice Day-Retreats at the beautiful Clandeboye Estate. Holly will be facilitating yoga and supporting a day that will also include guided breathwork and ice bath sessions by the the fire hut, that I’ll be guiding personally. Levi will be bringing cuddles and his presence too.
Alongside the upcoming day retreats, my private and corporate sessions have become a key focus. I may have an exciting update on this front in the not-too-distant future, but until then, I’m going to wrap up this blog entry by wishing you an amazing start to 2026. If you’d like to join me early 2026, but for whatever reason the day-retreat isn't for you, all of the upcoming public sessions at Koselig in Bangor are sold out, except the final Winter one on February 17th (which at the time of writing, has two spaces left that you can learn more about and book here).
Hope to see you at one of the upcoming events or at a 1-to-1 session soon,
Best wishes until then,
-Scott
